Pinto Beans and Rice Recipe

Crockpot Recipe
 
Ingredients
  2  lbs dry pinto beans  
  3   smocked hamhocks  
  1  pk. lipton onion soup mix  
 
Instructions
 
  1. Wash beans and hamhocks.

 
  2. Add hamhock to crockpot. Add beans. Put onion soup mix on top.

 
  3. Fill cockpot with water until beans are covered [add more water from time to time]

 
  4. Set crockpot on high and cook for 6 to 8 hrs

 
  Serve with rice and cornbread
