Jesse's Home Made Spaghetti Suace Recipe

Yield: 6 - 8 Servings
Spaghetti Sauce is a must-have in the repertoire of any well-rounded cook. My spaghetti sauce always contains meat. I am sure you will will this Spaghetti Sauce.
 
Ingredients
  1   1 lb ground beef  
  1   1 lb italian sausage  
  1   1 - 2 0nions chopped  
  1   5 - 8 Garlic Cloves minced  
  1   1 bell pepper chopped  
  1   1 - 2 tbs oregano  
  1   1 tbs fresh chopped Parsley  
  1   1 tbs fresh minced Basil  
  1   Salt and pepper (to taste)  
  1   2 tbs brown Sugar  
  1   3 - 4 15oz cans plum tomatos puree'd, or blended  
  1   1 8oz can tomato paste  
  1   olive oil  
  1   splash of white wine (optional)  
 
Instructions
 
  1. In olive oil, lightly sautee onions,garlic,bell pepper,oregano,basil,and parsley.(approx 3-4 min)

 
  2. Lightly brown ground beef and thoroughly cook sausage. Slice sausage into 1/4 - 1/2 inch slices.

 
  3. Add your saute'd vegetables and spices,pure'd or blended tomatoes,tomato paste,brown sugar, and wine(optional) to ground beef and sausage. Add salt and pepper(to taste)

 
  4. Let simmer 25 - 30 min. Let cool 3 - 5 min then serve.
