Festive Rice Recipe

Yield: 8 servings
 
Ingredients
  4   Stalks celery; sliced  
  1/2  c Canned water chestnuts  
    - thinly sliced  
  1  pk Frozen petite peas  
    - 8- to 10-ounce package  
  2  tb Butter  
  4  c Steamed rice  
    Salt  
    Pepper  
 
Instructions
 
  1. Combine celery, water chestnuts, peas and putter in saucepan. Place over medium heat and heat through. Toss with rice and season to taste with salt and pepper. Makes 8 servings.

 
  Each serving contains about: 396 calories; 117 mg sodium; 8 mg cholesterol; 3 grams fat; 81 grams carbohydrates; 9 grams protein; 1 gram fiber.
