About 30 cookies from the batch I made. By the time I had finished baking them there was a lot less than 30 cookies left. They must have evaporated or something like that.

| Sorry, I forgot to add that I reduced the amount of butter to 1/2 only.
To keep it moist, grapeseed oil added moist to the cookies.
thanks Linda Ikeda |

| I happened to know about Coachs Oats. Making the cookies is a matter of trial and error in order to achieve what you want. Not all people want the same thing.
By altering the recipe a little bit can make a big difference. I added 2 tbsp of grapeseed oil to mine. And reduced the amount of coachs oats to about 1/8 of the recommended oats. Example: if the recipe says 1 cup, I used 2/3 of the oats. Or you can use 1/2 of Coachs Oats and half of the rolled oats. Grapeseed oil is mild and healthier.
I also want to tell you that Coachs Oats has more soluble fiber which is good for your health. Eaten by itself, is a treat and healthier. I do alter any recipes according to my experiences and palate.
Have a great week, Linda Ikeda www.razoreyesstudios.com |

| Wonderful!!. I have been searching for a moist oatmeal raisin cookie, none quite right. This one is IT!! Moist, delicious. Will be making this one a lot I am sure. But did have to use regular oatmeal (don't know where to find "Coach" oatmeal). |

| I found these cookies to be very bland as well as dry. I left out the oatmeal and raisins for the second batch and added cinnamon and vanilla as well as chocolate chips, they were great. You can also just use vanilla extract and leave out the cinnamon.
From the editor: - I'm quite surprised, I found these to be fantastic cookies! |
