An easy to make ice-cream that is a must for coffee fans. Even those who are not coffee fanatics will enjoy this one.

1 pint |
vanilla ice cream, cut into ½-inch slices |
|
| |
1 |
purchased chocolate wafer pie shell |
|
| |
3 tbsp |
instant Italian-style coffee powder or |
|
| |
2 tsp |
instant coffee crystals |
|
| |
1 cup |
milk |
|
| |
1 cup |
dairy sour cream |
|
| |
1/8 tsp |
ground nutmeg |

| |
1 package |
4-serving-size instant choclate pudding mix |
|

Frozen whipped dessert topping, thawed |

Choclate curls |

Arrange ice cream slices on bottom of wafer pie shell. If necessary, spread ice cream using back of spoon to cover bottom of shell. Smooth top; return to freezer.

In a small bowl dissolve coffee powder or coffee crystals in milk. Add sour cream and nutmeg; beat with electric mixer until smooth .

Add pudding mix; beat till smooth and thickened. Spread evenly over ice cream, swirling top to form design.

Freeze 4 to 6 hours or overnight. Garnish with dollops of dessert topping and chocolate curls.
