An easy to make ice-cream that is a must for coffee fans. Even those who are not coffee fanatics will enjoy this one.
Ingredients
1 pint
vanilla ice cream, cut into ½-inch slices
1
purchased chocolate wafer pie shell
3 tbsp
instant Italian-style coffee powder or
2 tsp
instant coffee crystals
1 cup
milk
1 cup
dairy sour cream
1/8 tsp
ground nutmeg
1 package
4-serving-size instant choclate pudding mix
Frozen whipped dessert topping, thawed

Instructions

Arrange ice cream slices on bottom of wafer pie shell. If necessary, spread ice cream using back of spoon to cover bottom of shell. Smooth top; return to freezer.

In a small bowl dissolve coffee powder or coffee crystals in milk. Add sour cream and nutmeg; beat with electric mixer until smooth .

Add pudding mix; beat till smooth and thickened. Spread evenly over ice cream, swirling top to form design.

Freeze 4 to 6 hours or overnight. Garnish with dollops of dessert topping and chocolate curls.
