Cheese Sauce Recipe

Yield: 1 1/2 cups
Any kind of cheese can be used for this sauce. Use this cheese sauce on vegetables, pasta, or use in other dishes.
 
Ingredients
  1   1c milk  
  1   2 tbsp diced onion  
  1   2 tbsp cream cheese  
  1   1 1/2c grated chedder cheese  
  1   pepper to taste  
  1   1/2tbsp cornstarch  
  1   1 tbsp water  
  1   **mix cornstartch and water together in small container**  
 
Instructions
 
  1. Pour milk into saucepan, add onion and pepper. Heat over low heat for 15 min. Remove onion. Add cream cheese and whisk until melted over medium heat.

 
  2. Add grated chedder cheese and whisk until melted. Pour in cornstarch and water mixture to thicken. Serve over steamed vegetables or food of choice.
