What a better way to quench your thirst on a hot summer day than with a refreshing drink. There are some that can even help build your bones and maintain a healthy weight. Here is a selection of some of our favorite drinks!

Blueberry-Yogurt Shake
1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
1 (8 ounce) carton plain yogurt
1 Tbsp sugar
1 tsp vanilla

In a blender or food processor, mix together all ingredients until smooth. Makes 2 cups.

Strawberry Lime Slush
4 pints (8 cups) strawberries
3 cups crushed ice
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1/4 cup lime juice

1. Set aside 4 strawberries for garnish if desired. Place ice and 2 pints strawberries in blender or food processor. Cover and blend on high speed about 30 seconds, stopping blender occasionally to scrape sides, until almost smooth. Pour into 2 quart pitcher.

2. Place remaining 2 pints strawberries, sugar and juice in blender or food processor. Cover and blend on high speed about 30 seconds or almost smooth. Pour into mixture in pitcher; stir. Pour into glasses. Garnish with raw strawberries. Serve immediately.
