Starbucks uses these canisters that go along with isi whipits or ez whips you can ususally get them at cooking stores such as william sonoma or online somewhere, its easier and a bit cheaper if you go to a headshop they buy them in bulk and have better deals. Then you put ur combination recipe in the container screw on the cap and then bust the small n2o cylinder into it. and presto you have whip cream w/o having to beat it.

I recently saw a method of keeping your real whipped cream from going flat after a time. You just add cornstarch, but I did not get the proportions. Does anyone have them?

I know there's got to be a recipe out there to be able to make homemade dream whip. You know, it's the type of whip cream that you buy in a box, usually located either in the baking aisle or the pudding/jello aisle and has packages of powder in them that you just mix with milk until of desired consistency. I love that stuff, it tastes so much better than anything you can buy already made, even that gourmet stuff.
